Conditioner-washing hair: do any natural brands work?

I'd like to wash my hair with conditioner instead of shampoo. I've always heard to use pantene or suave, etc. but would a natural conditioner work, such as Alba, giovanni, burt's bees, jason, etc?

Really, any conditioner will work for this. Suave and Alberto VO5 work pretty well, but if you want to go with something natural, I it should still work. The trick isn't so much the product itself as the way you do it. You have to make sure to really scrub your scalp well with your fingers because conditioner obviously doesn't create a good lather for cleaning the way that shampoo does. Also, be prepared to have your hair look a little greasy until it gets used to is, and maybe ease into it - still wash with shampoo a couple times the first week, etc. Good luck!
